The Long Journey

I am a princess
Of the one true King

I am lost at sea
And trying to find my way back home
To my Father

I write letters to Him
Every day

Some days I wish I was
Already in my Father's arms

Trying to find a faster way
Yer it endangers my soul

More storms will come
And sometimes wreck my ship

But my Father will send angels
To repair my wounds

I know it will be a long journey
Before I see my King

But for now, I will be brave
And steer my ship towards home
Some day I will be home.
